TRUST
Safety centre
BUYZAW connects people. It does not hold the goods, and it does not take payment for a purchase until a payment provider is connected. Treat every deal as one you must verify yourself.
For buyers
- Meet in a busy public place for local collection. Take someone with you.
- Inspect houses, vehicles, and high-value goods in person, or use a trusted inspection, before you pay.
- Never share your password, one-time codes, or photos of your identity documents in chat.
- Be wary of prices that are far below the usual market, pressure to pay immediately, or requests to move the conversation off the app.
- The seller’s email and phone are not shown. Use the in-app chat so there is a record.
- Report a listing if the photos, price, or story do not add up. Block anyone who threatens or harasses you.
For sellers
- Use your own photos. Copied catalogue pictures are a common fraud signal.
- Describe faults honestly. Misleading listings can be removed.
- Do not ask a buyer to pay a stranger, a “shipping agent”, or a gift-card code.
- New accounts can list, but buyers can see when you joined. Build trust with complete profiles and real photos.
- You can delete a listing or mark it sold from your account. Suspended accounts cannot publish.
What we do
Sign-in is handled with secure sessions. Registering first does not make someone an administrator. The first administrator can only be the verified company owner, and only through a one-time setup on the server. An ordinary member cannot claim or change that. Administrators can suspend people, remove listings, and review reports. Listings can be held for approval if that switch is turned on. Private details such as email are visible only to you and administrators.
